Friends of Hemingfield Colliery
The Friends of Hemingfield Colliery is working hard to transform Hemingfield Colliery into an exciting visitor destination. We are a team of volunteers who are excited about industrial heritage and history, and are working hard to preserve and restore this beautiful site. We are always looking for people to come and join us in this exciting project. The project team is currently working hard on ground clearance and building work, and are seeking assistance in these areas.

Tads Young peoples wellbeing centre 11-18
The Project is based at The Core, County Way, Barnsley, S70 2JW. We provide a drop in service on Tuesdays 3.30pm to 4.30pm for new young people ONLY, to come and meet us, pick up some information and register. At 4.30pm we have a social group for young people to meet and keep in touch after they have completed the group sessions. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we provide group sessions where you will learn techniques to manage your anxiety, stress, anger and depression.
