Digital Engineering Apprenticeship – Barnsley area with T3 Training and Development

Qualification Title: Digital Engineering  Apprenticeship Level 3 

Pay: £200.00 per week

Hours: Monday to Friday, Hours to be advised

Duration of Course: 30 Months

Job Description:  As one of our apprentice surveyors you will be involved in the 3D data capture, data processing and subsequent CAD/BIM modelling of existing sites.
Projects are wide ranging and the role will be challenging, demanding and varied.
Specific survey tasks may include 3D laser scanning, topographic surveys and site setting out.

Apprentices must be willing to work away from home during the week at many varied geographic locations throughout the UK.

Apprentices must show commitment to the following: 
To achieve apprentice framework (NVQ and Technical Certificate) within the specified time frame
Attend the apprenticeship induction programme
Attend all of the training sessions for the programme whenever necessary
Undertake any other required development work as part of the apprenticeship programme as requested.  Any other duties as deemed appropriate by senior staff.

You will have the opportunity to undertake day-release education to obtain a level 3 diploma in Built Environment Design and a BTEC level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment.

Desired Qualifications:  GCSE 4‐9 / Grade A*‐C   3 A Levels grade D or above,
Full clean driving licence with own vehicle is beneficial

Desired Skills required:
IT literacy (familiarity with Microsoft office)

Desired Personal Qualities: 
Be progressive, imaginative and enthusiastic in your work
Willingness to learn new skills
A meticulous nature and acute attention to detail  
Ability to interact positively with both senior and junior staff.
Full clean driving license with own vehicle is beneficial.
