This is a fantastic opportunity to gain your Business Administration level 2 qualification whilst working for a renowned Hotel Chain in Barnsley.

Working week  Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 4:30pm.  Total hours per week: 30.00

Main duties will include:

  • Incoming and outgoing post
  • Responding quickly and efficiently to all event enquiries coming into the hotel, both by telephone and face to face
  • To follow up all enquiries, preparing proposals where necessary and facilitating show rounds with potential clients to show them the hotels facilities
  • Issuing contracts to clients to confirm all bookings
  • On confirmed bookings dealing directly with clients and confirming final details for each booking made
  • To issue daily function sheet updates
  • To ensure that all customer correspondence is accurately filed and that records are kept of client’s past requirements
  • To record the progress of all enquiries
  • Event stationery (i.e. Menu’s, seating plan etc.)
  • To deal with any customer feedback in a positive and polite manner, ensuring the events manager is informed of the situation and outcome
  • Where necessary to help/assist with other departments in the hotel –reservation/sales/reception
